Privacy Policy
Kaicon, Inc. · Effective October 7, 2026
Kaicon.ai is a platform for people who buy, plan and build property. You give it an address or describe a project, and it answers with a value, a cost and what to offer. This policy says what we collect to do that, why, who handles it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It covers the website at kaicon.ai, the Kaicon.ai app, and the field app our crews use.
What we collect
Your account. An email address and a password, or the name, email address and profile picture that Google or Apple share with us when you sign in with them. When you create an account we ask for your name, and you may add a phone number so our office can call you about a request. The phone number is optional.
What you give the platform. The addresses, project descriptions, questions, photos, drawings and documents you type or upload. The platform keeps them with your account so your conversations, projects and reports are there the next time you open it.
Requests you make. When you ask us to send you work, find you a contractor, or have someone contact you, we keep the request and the name and phone number or email you give for it, so the office can follow up.
Payments. When paid reports open, a payment processor handles your card. We never see or store your card number.
Use of the platform. The pages and features you use, the time of each request, the device and browser you use, and the errors the platform runs into. We use this to keep the platform working, to measure usage against your plan, and to find and fix problems.
Public records. To answer about a property, the platform reads public and licensed records about that property, such as permits, zoning, sales and listings. Those records are about the property, not about you.
How we use it
- To answer you: to read a property, price a project, and produce the reports you ask for.
- To keep your work: so your conversations, projects and reports are saved to your account.
- To follow up: to contact you about a request you made, using the contact you gave for it.
- To run the platform: to sign you in, bill paid reports, keep the platform secure, and fix what breaks.
- To improve it: the platform learns from how estimates compare to real jobs. That learning is about costs and hours, not about you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who handles your information for us
We use a small number of companies to run the platform. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.
- Anthropic runs the AI model that reads your questions and writes the answers. Your conversation is sent to it to be answered.
- Supabase hosts the database, the files you upload, and the sign-in service.
- Cloudflare hosts parts of the platform and the field app.
- Google and Apple sign you in when you choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
- Stripe processes payments when paid reports open.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the platform or its users, or if Kaicon is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
How long we keep it
Your account and the work in it stay as long as the account exists. Delete the account and we delete the account record and the conversations, uploads and reports in it, except what we must keep for billing, legal or security reasons, which we keep only as long as that reason lasts.
Your choices
- You can see and change your name, email and phone number in your account.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we answer within 45 days.
- You can sign in without Google or Apple by using an email and a password instead.
- You can stop using the platform at any time. Guest conversations without an account are not tied to you.
If you live in California, these are your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and you will not be treated differently for using them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Security
Your information travels encrypted and is stored by providers that keep it encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored only as hashes. Access inside Kaicon is limited to the people who need it to run the platform.
Children
Kaicon.ai is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change that matters to you is announced in the app before it takes effect.
