Terms of Service

These are the terms between you and Kaicon, Inc. for the website at kaicon.ai, the Kaicon.ai app and the field app. By using them you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
What the platform is
Kaicon.ai reads a property or a project you describe and answers with a value, a cost, an offer, a scope, a report. It draws on public and licensed records, on cost standards, and on what our own crews have measured on real jobs. Some answers are free and some are paid reports, priced on the page before you order.
What the answers are, and are not
The platform's answers are estimates and readings made by software from the information available to it. They are a starting point for your own judgment and for the professionals you hire.
- A value is not an appraisal. A licensed appraiser gives an appraisal.
- A cost or a scope is not a bid or a contract. A construction job happens under a separate written agreement that states its own price, scope and schedule.
- An offer figure is not investment, financial or legal advice. Buying property carries risk, and the decision and its consequences are yours.
- Records can be incomplete or out of date, and conditions a reading cannot see can change a job. Verify before you act.
Your account
You need an account to save your work. You can sign in with an email and a password, or with Google or Apple. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You must be 18 or older.
What you give us
What you type or upload stays yours. You give us the right to store it, process it, and show it back to you and to the people you share it with, so the platform can do its work. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
The platform learns from how estimates compare to finished jobs. That learning is about costs, hours and methods, and it does not identify you.
What is not allowed
- Using the platform to break the law or someone else's rights.
- Pulling data out of it in bulk, reselling its answers, or building a competing service from them.
- Trying to get around its limits, its sign-in, or its security.
- Uploading anything harmful, or anything you have no right to share.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Paid reports
A paid report shows its price before you order it and is charged when you order. Because a report is produced for one property and delivered at once, it is not refundable once delivered, unless the law where you live says otherwise or we failed to deliver it.
Our property
The platform, its software, its design, its name and marks, and the way it builds its answers belong to Kaicon, Inc. These terms do not give you any of that, only the right to use the platform.
The limits of our responsibility
The platform is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that an answer is correct or complete, or that the platform is always on. To the extent the law allows, Kaicon, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the platform's answers, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow some of these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law allows.
Changes and ending
We may change the platform and these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top changes, and a change that matters to you is announced in the app before it takes effect. You can close your account at any time. We can end your access if you break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. A dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the state or federal courts in California.
